Cristiano Ronaldo’s friend reveals star’s next move amid Chelsea speculation

Former Manchester United winger Nani has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted at finishing his career in the MLS.

Multiple reports claimed during the week that Chelsea are plotting a shock move for the Portuigal international.

Now in his second season at Juventus after a hugely successful time at Real Madrid, it is reported that the Blues are ready to launch a €120million (£107m) move to sign the Portuguese star.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner is currently at Juventus after trophy-laden spells at Manchester United and Real Madrid, and his Portugal and former Old Trafford team-mate, who is plying his trade in America with Orlando City, has revealed Ronaldo could move stateside.

“A couple of years ago, he told me that he will probably end up in America,” Nani told ESPN. “It’s not 100 per cent, but probably. There is a chance.”
