Jurgen Klopp’s claim that Chelsea are Premier League title favourites has not deterred Frank Lampard.
The reigning champs won again last night to jump the Blues, who sit third and two points behind Liverpool and Tottenham.
He insisted: “I don’t think we think much of it. Liverpool and Manchester City have built a great squad, there are others in contention.
“I think where we are out, we are in good form, but we have players who have come in and City and Liverpool have had a lot of success for long periods. We are trying to reach that.”
Klopp had earlier told Sky: “If I watch football games at the moment then Chelsea, for me, look like favourites.
“They have the biggest squad, great players playing well together after a rusty start – and they are full on.
“They have unbelievable opportunities to change in games and make changes from one game to the other – so that is it.”
Yes, there’s no doubt Chelsea have a great team parading some of the youngest/best legs in today’s footballing world. As a matter of fact from my perspective, this team is still in the process of rebuilding and they’re still learning to blend. Though they’ve been getting favourable results/victories upon victories in recent times after a rusty/disappointing takeoff at the beginning of the Season. I just hope that these current forms of victories doesn’t get into their heads/nerves/encephalon and making them to soft-pedal thinking that they’ve arrived. They must sustain the current tempo and try as much as possible in order to continue with the present trend and who knows at the end of the Season they could likely become both the Premiership and Champ’s League Champions with their collective efforts backed up by God’s special grace🙏 I remains same.
