Half-Time Report: Chelsea 2-2 Burnley… Four goals in the first 26 minutes

The first half of the Premier League encounter between Chelsea and Burnley at Stamford Bridge ended 2-2 as the two teams were at each other’s jugular in an exhilirating game of football.

Jeff Hendrick gave the visitors the lead against the run of play after only eight minutes of the match.

Then a quick turn around saw the Blues storm in front through N’Golo Kante and Gonzalo Higuaín.

Ashley Barnes promptly levelled again, however, and both sides look well capable of adding more goals in the second half.

All the four goals were scored in the first 26 minutes.

Meanwhile, Callum Hudson-Odoi was helped round the pitch by two of Chelsea’s medical staff, wincing in pain, and Pedro replaced the youngster.
