Chelsea deservedly lead at the break after a strong first-half performance which saw them dominate possession.

Romelu Lukaku’s header is separating the west London club from Brighton.

But after being second-best early on, Brighton grew stronger as the first half progressed and they’re still in this one with 45 minutes to go.

Brighton began to get into the game in the latter stages but have not been good enough to level the score.
