Lyon’s Maxwel Cornet opens the scoring in the quarterfinal and it’s the French side up first.

It was a long ball over the top from Lyon that finds Ekambi straight through the middle – Walker at wing back played him onside.

Ekambi’s first effort was saved by Ederson but the ball rolled out to Cornet who curled the redound into the near corner from just outside the penalty area.

Goal was initially reviewed by VAR, but the goal is confirmed, it’s a lovely shot from distance slotted in near post.
