Maurizio Sarri’s father gives update on his son’s move to Juventus

Maurizio Sarri’s father has given an update on his son’s anticipated move to Juventus, saying Chelsea “haven’t released him yet and even he doesn’t know when it’ll happen.”

Tuscan YouTuber Giacomo Carolei visited Sarri’s hometown of Figline Valdarno, on the outskirts of Florence, to ask the locals if there were any updates on the situation, report Football Italia.

He ended up being pointed towards the tactician’s father Amerigo, who was just returning home.

When asked if Sarri had signed for Juventus yet, the response was: “They haven’t released him yet. Even he doesn’t know when it’ll happen.”

The father was asked if he hoped Maurizio would move to Juventus.

“I hope he returns to Italy.”

Sarri has said one of the reasons for his desire to come back to Serie A is to be closer to his parents.
