Napoli join PSG, AC Milan in race to sign Chelsea star

Reports in Italy claim that Gennaro Gattuso is seeking a reunion with Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko as Napoli are making move to sign the Blues flop.

The Italian gaffer was in charge of the Rossoneri when Bakayoko was farmed to the Serie A club.

However, now the Frenchman has emerged as a concrete transfer target for Napoli as Gattuso wants to sign a new centre midfielder to switch to a 4-2-3-1 formation

According to Tuttosport, Chelsea are open to selling the 26-year-old on loan with option to buy.

The Rossoneri had also been linked with a move for the French midfielder but the deal with the Rossoneri has been put on hold.

As per Sportitalia, Herta Berlin and PSG have also been chasing Bakayoko who is however willing to return to Serie A and play under his former manager.

And, Football Italia report that the Partenopei can close the deal as soon as Arkadiusz Milik leaves the club. Tuttosport states the Poland striker is close to joining Fiorentina on a €5 million loan deal with an option to buy in the region of € 25 million.

The Polish ace would need to sign a one-year contract extension ahead of joining the Artemio Franchi side with that formula as his current deal at Napoli expires on June 2021.
