OFFICIAL: Juventus sign Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s prime target

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s key target Adrien Rabiot has been signed by by Juventus on free transfer.

Solskjaer reportedly wanted to add the France international as part of his rebuilding plans, and the club even tabled a deal worth around £9million a year with a £4.5m signing-on.

He was also the subject of interest from Tottenham and Barcelona, but excessive wage demands prevented a move for him in January.

Although Juve’s official statement did not mention the length of Rabiot’s contract, it is understood he has agreed a four-year contract worth €7m per season plus bonuses, with a €10m signing-on fee.

The Frenchman will be unveiled as the Bianconeri’s latest signing in the morning on Tuesday, report Football Italia.

The 24-year-old broke through for PSG in 2013 and went on to play 227 times for the French giants, scoring 25 goals, providing 20 assists and winning six Ligue 1 titles.

However, a contractual dispute saw him dropped from their first team in December.
