Liverpool have reportedly made contact with Philippe Coutinho to tell him they will NOT be making a move to bring him back to Anfield.

Coutinho is expected to leave the Nou Camp this summer after being farmed out to Bayern Munich on loan this term.

Spanish newspaper Sport say Chelsea are ‘very close’ to landing the 27-year-old, despite facing competition from Tottenham and PSG.

And the same publication say the Reds have got in touch with their former player to let him know they aren’t interested in a reunion.
