Timo Werner’s former boss reveals why Chelsea-bound striker is “a brutal weapon”

Former RB Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has identified Timo Werner’s brutal weapon which will help help him in the Premier League.

Werner is billed to join the London club at the end of the season.

According to Southampton boss, who signed the striker in his first season at the Bundesliga club, Chelsea have signed a ‘brutal weapon’ if they manage to get the Tomo Werner deal over the line.

Hasenhuttl told Sport Bild: “Football is very intense and fast [in England].

“That, in turn, suits Timo: with his speed he’s a brutal weapon in the right team.”
