Chelsea new boy Kai Havertz took to the training pitch at Cobham on Sunday and showed the Blues faithful why the club were desperate to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
The German international completed his move to the west London club on Friday after the Blues agreed a fee of £72 million plus £18 million in potential add-ons with Bayer Leverkusen.
According to football.london, the midfielder took part in his first training session as a Chelsea player on Sunday afternoon.
And it is during that session that Chelsea fans noticed the player already living up to his potential.
Taking part in a shooting drill, fans on Twitter noticed that Haverz puts every one of his shots past the goalkeeper, finding the corner of the net on a few occasions
Havertz was one of Chelsea’s top transfer targets this summer after impressing in the Bundesliga during the 2019/20 campaign.
The 21-year-old attracted interest from around Europe after scoring 12 goals in 30 league appearances.
