Another football star’s house robbed during international duty

Days after Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata’s home was burgled in Madrid, Inter Milan striker Ivan Perisic also fell victim to the dare-devil robbers.

The Croatia international was on international duty when the robbers struck in his house in Milan.

Reports claim that the robbers made away with with over €80,000 in items stolen, including luxury watches.

The incident was reported in La Stampa newspaper, noting Perisic arrived at the police station for an interview.

Perisic and his wife are believed to have been robbed of three luxury watches, a Rolex worth €20,000, a limited edition Audemars Piguet worth €50,000 and his Hublot worth €12,000, report Football Italia.

The watches – two belonging to his wife and one owned by the player – were in two separate containers.

It seems as if the robbery was only just discovered, but may well have happened during his trip to Croatia for international duty.

There were no signs of forced entry in the 19th-floor apartment.

Perisic lives in an apartment in the popular Garibaldi area of Milan where a number of Inter’s squad reside.
