Chelsea loanee Charly Musonda has been ruled out for the rest of the season while on loan at Vitesse Arnhem.

The 22-year-old suffered a knee injury for the second season in a row and he’s been limited to just four games in two Dutch loan spells.

He had featured in Vitesse’s first three games of the season, but had been out since mid-August with a knee injury. At that time the injury did not sound too significant, but it now looks like that it could keep him out for the entire season.

The latest injury – which has only now been confirmed as a knee problem – will see him return to London for treatment.
