Cristiano Ronaldo in touchline row with Maurizio Sarri during Juventus-Tottenham ICC match

Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to be angry with Maurizio Sarri over his substitution during International Champions Cup encounter with Tottenham on Sunday.

The Portugal international was substituted moments after putting the Bianconeri 2-1 ahead against Spurs, and it seems that this rubbed him up the wrong way.

Video footage, which is widely available on social media, shows Ronaldo walking off the pitch after his number is called and shaking hands with a Juventus coach.

He then walks past former Chelsea manager Sarri and utters something but fails to stop, leaving the Juventus boss standing on the touchline looking sheepish.

Fans took to Twitter to suggest that Ronaldo was upset about being hooked so soon after scoring, despite the fact the match was just a friendly, report the Mirror.

Spurs would go on to win the Singapore friendly, thanks to Harry Kane’s spectacular lob from the halfway line.

Stealing the headlines with his long-range effort, Kane’s goal also completed another comeback against a European giant.

Spurs had led through Erik Lamela before Juve’s quickfire double through Gonzalo Higuain and Ronaldo.

In the final ten minutes, Lucas Moura levelled thanks to an incisive through ball by Tanguy Ndombele.

The moment came just a minute after the French midfielder, Tottenham’s record signing, had come off the bench.

Fans went wild as he intercepted a pass in Juve’s final third and slipped in Lucas, but the real ecstasy was reserved for Kane’s winner.
