Didier Drogba reveals how Tammy Abraham learnt goal-scoring techniques from him

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has claimed that 21-year-old prodigy Tammy Abraham learnt from him during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Abraham, 21, has been at Chelsea since Under-8 level and has grown up watching Drogba score many of his 164 goals for the Blues.

The young Chelsea striker has bagged seven goals in his last three games and when asked about him, Drogba said: “Yes I’ve known him since he’s been like this.

“These are kids that we used to see, they used to come and watch us training, and I believe they learned a bit of our skills, how we read the game.

“So, you know, we’re not surprised because I also trained with them when I used to train with the reserve team.

“It was always a moment for me to give away some skills, some knowledge, and they learnt really fast, really quick.”

Abraham faces his toughest test yet on Sunday as the Blues host early league leaders Liverpool looking to become the first side to take points off Jurgen Klopp’s side in the Premier League this season
