Marcos Alonso shows his prowess as free-kick specialist (Watch video of his spectacular freekick in training)

Chelsea’s Marcos Alonso showcased his outrageous dead-ball ability in training as he scored into the top corner with team mate Willy Caballero used as a target.

According to Sportsmail, the 28-year-old managed to convince the goalkeeper to climb onto the goal frame and leave a space in the top right corner for him to place the ball from outside the penalty area and to Cabellero’s relief, Alonso managed to pull it off.

Alonso is one of a few free-kick taker options in Frank Lampard’s side with Willian, Mason Mount and Jorginho also gifted from dead-ball scenarios.

The Chelsea wing-back posted the video to his Instagram account with the caption ‘When you need your bro to train free-kicks but he trusts you’.
