PSG fans protest against Paul Pogba move, remind Man United star of his mother’s warning

Paris Sant-Germain fans are in protest against the potential signing of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Parisians want to bring the Frenchman to his homeland after he rejected United’s latest contract offer.

The banner – which protests against the potential signing – reads: “Pogba, you should listen to your mother, she doesn’t want you here, neither do we.”

Arsenal ready to meet Tammy Abraham’s wage demands

Arsenal are ready to meet Tammy Abraham’s wage demands to bring the Chelsea striker to the Emirates this summer, according to reports.

The Gunners have emerged as the frontunners to sign Abraham with Blues boss Thomas Tuchel ready to offload the 23-year-old this summer.

Abraham has popped up with regular goals for Chelsea – and shown his ability during loan spells at Bristol City, Swansea City and Aston Villa – but Tuchel appears to be unconvinced, leaving the forward out of multiple of his matchday squads last season.

A potential stumbling block to Abraham’s move to Arsenal was his wage demands – he is currently on around £80,000 a week and is said to want around £125,000.

But the Daily Express say Arsenal have indicated in talks that they are prepared to meet Abraham’s demands as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his attacking options.

Inter Milan tell Chelsea cost of signing of Romelu Lukaku

Chelsea will have to fork out a nine-figure fee to land former Man Utd ace Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan this summer.

Borussia Dortmund are adamant that Haaland will remain with them for at least one more season, while Chelsea would need to pay in the region of £160m in order to sign the Norway international this summer.

Reports in Italy outline the Serie A champions’ asking price of £102.5million for their star striker.

Inter are set to defend their Scudetto title next season but financial difficulties have led to player sales dominating their summer so far.

Achraf Hakimi has already left for Paris Saint-Germain with Chelsea said to be keen on Lukaku’s return to Stamford Bridge.

However, the Italians are intent on keeping their man, who has committed his future to the club.

According to Tuttosport, only a bid topping the £100m mark would make them consider selling Lukaku, 28.

AC Milan put pressure on Chelsea for another Blues star

AC Milan have turned up the heat in their pursuit of Hakim Ziyech following their successful swoop for ex-Blues frontman Olivier Giroud.

The Serie A side are eyeing a temporary deal for the Chelsea forward as a less pricey option than their other targets, according to Calciomercato.

Ziyech, 28, has been heavily linked with a Milan move with reports in Italy claiming the Blues star is a dream target for Stefano Pioli’s side.

The attacking midfielder, who sealed a £36.7million move to Stamford Bridge from Ajax in July 2020, is thought to have fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea.

With Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Timo Werner thought to be ahead of the forward, reports claim opportunities for him could be limited next season.

Chelsea are, according to The Sun, thought to have warm relations with Milan following the two giants reaching an agreement over Olivier Giroud’s £2million move to the San Siro from Stamford Bridge.

Italian football outlet Calciomercato claims the Serie A side hope to seal a loan move for Ziyech, who netted six goals in 39 appearances across all competitions for the Blues last term.

And it is thought Barcelona’s Coutinho and Real Madrid winger Isco are also on the San Siro’s giants transfer giant’s wish list.

Manchester City set to get rid of highly-rated star to fund Harry Kane, Jack Grealish £225m swoop

Manchester City need to get rid of just ONE star to fund a sensational double swoop for Harry Kane and Jack Grealish.

And Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva looks set to be the one sacrificed as boss Pep Guardiola freshens up his Premier League champions.

The Sun report that England skipper Kane, 27, is poised for a British record £160million move if Spurs chairman Daniel Levy rubber stamps the deal.

The Etihad giants know it will cost upwards of £225m to land Kane and Aston Villa’s Grealish, with the Spurs man set to earn an eye-watering £400,000-a-week at his new club.

But there will be no fire sale needed from Guardiola’s squad to raise the cash.

And striker Gabriel Jesus has been told he is staying, for now at least, despite Juventus interest.

City already had £45m burning a hole in their pocket from the sale of Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich last year.

Chelsea have “strong interest” in ex-Manchester United star

Chelsea have placed free agent Sergio Romero on their shortlist of candidates as they look to bring in cover for Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer, according to reports.

Mendy established himself as Thomas Tuchel’s first-choice goalkeeper across an outstanding debut season after swapping Rennes for west London, playing a key role as the club secured a fourth-placed finish and won the Champions League.

But Kepa is the only other serious option available to Tuchel as it stands – after Willy Caballero’s contract at Stamford Bridge came to an end – and the Blues are scouring the market for cover between the sticks.

Fulham’s Marcus Bettinelli, who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, is firmly on Chelsea’s radar and former Manchester United shot-stopper Romero is also attracting strong interest, according to The Telegraph.

Romero has been without a club after his six-year stay at Old Trafford came to an end and the ex-Argentina international is keen to resolve his future as quickly as possible, with the new season on the horizon.

The 34-year-old made just seven league starts for United after arriving in England from Sampdoria back in 2015 but proved himself as a reliable deputy to David de Gea in cup competitions.

Barcelona president denies Antoine Griezmann exit report

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has denied reports that Antoine Griezmann is on the verge of leaving the club.

The Catalan giants are desperate to sell players this summer as they cannot yet register Lionel Messi’s new contract nor new signings registrations due to them operating above their wage budget.

Griezmann – one of the highest earners at the Camp Nou – is thought to be one of those most likely to leave due to his high salary and interest from elsewhere, notably his former club Atletico Madrid.

Paul Pogba rejects Manchester United contract, set for Old Trafford exit

Paul Pogba has rejected a new £50million contract at Manchester United and is set to leave this summer.

Pogba’s unwillingness to sign a new deal has forced United to look at selling their club record £89million signing – or risk losing him for nothing next summer.

Paris St Germain are ready to pay £45m for Pogba, who has one year left on his current United contract, but has turned down the offer of a £350k-a-week deal.

United wanted to tie Pogba down to a new long-term deal and woul have offered a huge pay hike on his £250k weekly deal

Harry Kane set for £160million Man City move as Tottenham Daniel Levy makes transfer U-turn

Reports in England claim that Harry Kane is poised for a £160million move after Spurs chairman Daniel Levy agreed to let him join an English rival.

The Euros hero, 27, is set to join Man City on a record £400,000 a week.

According to The Sun, Levy revealed his U-turn to Harry and his team last Friday. A source said: “Harry is delighted. He never wanted to leave on bad terms.

“His value has never been higher.”

Thrilled Harry told of his joy at his pending £160million Man City move while best man at his brother’s wedding.

Elder sibling Charlie is the England skipper’s agent and the good news was shared with family and friends at last Sunday’s nuptials.

Euros hero Harry, 27, is understood to have shaken hands on a £400,000-a-week deal with City after Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy finally caved in — having previously said he would only sell the star to a European club.

It will be a four or five-year deal – that is still to be finalised.

Levy rang Harry and Charlie, 32, to tell them of his U-turn on Friday, two days before the older Kane’s wedding.

Harry put in a transfer request earlier this summer.

It followed Spurs’ failure to win a trophy after losing to City in April’s League Cup Final.

England’s Man City trio of Kyle Walker — a former teammate at Spurs — Raheem Sterling and John Stones are understood to have given Harry advice on where to live in the North West. City boss Pep Guardiola may be asked to offer some star players as part of the deal.

Official: Chelsea lose another highly-rated youngster as Leeds United announce Lewis Bate move

Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Lewis Bate from Chelsea after rejecting the Blues contract.

The midfielder is highly rated by the Blues’ academy staff and the club had hoped to agree a new long-term contract with the 18-year-old.

According to football.london, Bate was offered a lucrative deal by Chelsea but with concerns over whether there would be a route for him to make the first team, that was turned down.

That meant the England youth international had less than 12 months remaining on his contract and interest in his services had emerged from a number of Premier League sides.

Leeds came to an agreement with Chelsea on Tuesday which will see the Blues receive an initial £1.5million with further significant add-ons and a sell-on fee percentage included.

Bate has signed a three-year contract with the Whites and will join up with Mark Jackson’s Under-23s for the forthcoming season.
